The Raw Material Warehouse project developed for Ravago Petrokimya Üretim A.Ş. in Aliağa, İzmir, was completed by DEA YAPI on a turnkey basis during 2022-2023. Located within Ravago’s 150,000 m² facility — notable as Turkey’s first Thermoplastic Polyurethane producer and equipped with an Industry 4.0 Automation System — the project spans 18,000 m² of enclosed area. This investment aims to nearly double the existing facility’s raw material storage capacity.
All infrastructure and superstructure works within the project were executed through an integrated approach. The raw material storage conditions required by the petrochemical industry — chemical resistance, fire safety, ventilation, and static electricity precautions — were meticulously addressed at every stage of the structural design. A steel frame load-bearing system was selected for the wide-span storage volume, and industrial flooring solutions were implemented with durability sufficient to support racking and handling infrastructure compatible with the automation system. Fire detection, suppression, and ventilation systems were integrated in accordance with international standards.
Aliağa represents one of Turkey’s most significant bases for petrochemical and heavy industrial production. Its proximity to the Aegean’s strategic ports offers strong logistical advantages for raw material imports and finished product exports, forming a natural production hub for internationally scaled investments such as Ravago.
