The Data and Fire Station Building project developed for Mercedes-Benz Türk A.Ş. at the Hoşdere Bus Factory Facilities was completed by DEA YAPI on a turnkey basis in 2010, serving as Building-20. Covering all construction works from the foundation up, the project consolidated the fire station function of Mercedes-Benz Türk’s Hadımköy facilities under a single strategic structure.
The building was constructed with a reinforced concrete load-bearing system topped by a hybrid reinforced concrete and steel structure roof. Fire station buildings carry specialized functional requirements — large door openings for rapid emergency vehicle dispatch, 24/7 personnel quarters, a data center room, training areas, and fire equipment storage volumes. Designing each section according to its specific technical specifications was among the project’s primary engineering priorities.
In industrial facilities, fire station and data buildings hold critical importance for both occupational safety and operational continuity. Reducing emergency response time and ensuring uninterrupted data infrastructure are indispensable to the risk management of any production facility. For this reason, structural strength, fire resistance, and electrical-mechanical system redundancy were placed at the core of the design.
Since 1988, DEA YAPI has extended its partnership with Mercedes-Benz Türk, bringing its industrial building construction experience and turnkey project discipline to this critical safety structure project.
