The Logistics Warehouse and Operations Center project developed for Gratis İç ve Dış Ticaret A.Ş. in Adana was constructed by DEA YAPI on a turnkey basis in 2024. Planned to reinforce the distribution capacity of Gratis — one of Turkey’s leading personal care and cosmetics retail brands — this large-scale investment was designed as an integrated logistics center covering a total of 60,000 m² of enclosed area.
Within the project scope, all infrastructure and superstructure construction works were managed end-to-end by DEA YAPI. The high circulation speed, operational flexibility, and adaptation to seasonal campaign intensities required by retail logistics were placed at the center of the design and implementation. Infrastructure works including drainage, stormwater, wastewater, and fire safety systems were completed in compliance with international standards. A steel frame load-bearing system was applied for wide-span storage volumes within the superstructure, while high-durability industrial flooring solutions suitable for loading-unloading ramps, forklift traffic, and automated racking systems were implemented. Architectural and MEP solutions supporting modern office comfort were integrated in the operations center section.
Adana serves as the logistical heart of the Mediterranean region. Thanks to its proximity to the port of Mersin, highway networks extending to southeastern provinces, and well-developed railway infrastructure, the city forms a strategic distribution base for retail operations. Adana stands as a preferred logistics hub for both domestic and export-oriented investments.
