The BİM Çanakkale Regional Directorate and Logistics Warehouse project developed for BİM Birleşik Mağazalar A.Ş. in Çanakkale was completed by DEA YAPI on a turnkey basis in 2024. Located on a 35,000 m² plot, the facility resolves administrative building and logistics warehouse functions within an integrated complex covering approximately 24,000 m² of enclosed area, with all construction, mechanical, and electrical installation works managed end-to-end.
The high circulation speed and operational efficiency required by retail logistics were placed at the center of the design and construction process. Infrastructure works including drainage, stormwater, wastewater, and fire safety connections were completed in compliance with international standards. A steel frame load-bearing system was selected for the superstructure to support wide-span storage volumes, while high-durability industrial flooring solutions suitable for loading-unloading ramps and forklift traffic were implemented. Architectural and MEP solutions supporting modern office comfort in the administrative building were integrated alongside fire detection and suppression systems.
Çanakkale occupies a strategic logistical position at the intersection of the Aegean and the Marmara regions. Its highway accessibility, significantly strengthened by the commissioning of the 1915 Çanakkale Bridge, has transformed the city into a critical base for distribution across the Northern Aegean and Southern Marmara. Rapid access to the Balıkesir, Bursa, and Edremit corridors highlights the region as an attractive logistics hub for modern retail chains.
