The ground improvement project for the Hyundai Hysco Automotive Steel Parts Production Facility, carried out on behalf of Hyundai AMCO İnşaat Turizm Sanayi ve Ticaret Ltd. Şti., was completed by DEA YAPI on a turnkey basis across a total construction area of 12,000 m². The project scope included the production of 192 bored piles of Q80 diameter and 20 meters in depth beneath the foundation of the production facility.
Bored pile applications are a specialized geotechnical solution preferred when ground bearing capacity is insufficient or when high stability is required beneath the foundations of heavy-load industrial buildings. Automotive steel parts production facilities are exposed to substantial point loads and vibrational forces due to presses, cutting lines, and heavy processing equipment. Accordingly, the drilling, reinforcement placement, and concrete pouring stages of the bored pile works were carried out with high engineering precision, while the load-bearing capacity and quality control of each pile were ensured in compliance with international geotechnical standards. The systematic layout of the 192 piles was engineered and implemented to ensure even load distribution across the entire facility.
Automotive supplier production facilities are among the most sensitive building types from a ground and foundation engineering perspective. For investments by global manufacturers such as Hyundai Hysco in Turkey, the quality of geotechnical solutions is decisive for long-term structural performance and production continuity.
DEA YAPI has applied the engineering experience it has gained in foundation and ground improvement works — which precede factory superstructures — to this project with technical discipline and quality assurance.
