The Paper Production Facility project developed for Aktül Kağıt Üretim Pazarlama A.Ş. in Pamukova, Sakarya, was completed by DEA YAPI in 2021, covering all construction works within the scope. With a total enclosed area of 20,000 m², the additional production facility was planned as an integrated industrial complex consisting of the Main Building, Converting Building, Finished Product Building, and Semi-Finished Product Building.
Paper production requires a complex process flow extending from raw material handling to converting operations, from intermediate storage to finished product packaging. Accordingly, the facility’s various functional buildings were positioned to ensure the uninterrupted continuity of the production flow. Infrastructure works covering drainage, process water lines, fire safety, and waste management systems were configured in line with international standards. For the superstructure, a steel frame load-bearing system was implemented to accommodate wide-span production volumes, while energy efficiency was enhanced through sandwich panel cladding on the roof and facade. High-durability industrial flooring solutions compatible with racking systems and forklift traffic were applied in the semi-finished and finished product warehouses.
Pamukova represents a significant industrial district that leverages Sakarya’s logistical advantages. Its proximity to the TEM highway and Marmara ports creates strategic value for both domestic and export-oriented production activities.
