The C&S Production Building and Office Building project developed for Bekaert Tekstil San. ve Tic. A.Ş. within the European Free Zone in Çorlu, Tekirdağ, was completed by DEA YAPI on a turnkey basis in 2021. With a total enclosed area of 28,280 m², the facility was planned as an integrated industrial building combining production and administrative functions under a single complex.
All infrastructure and superstructure construction works within the project were managed end-to-end by DEA YAPI. The infrastructure activities included ground improvement, drainage, stormwater management, wastewater, and fire safety connections, all completed in accordance with international standards. For the superstructure, a steel frame load-bearing system was selected to provide flexibility across the wide-span production halls required by textile manufacturing, while modern architectural details ensuring office comfort were applied in the administrative section. MEP systems, HVAC, and lighting solutions were configured with a focus on uninterrupted production continuity.
The Çorlu European Free Zone lies within one of Thrace’s most strategic industrial corridors, offering a strong infrastructure for export-oriented production thanks to its easy access to the Istanbul-Edirne highway, Tekirdağ ports, and European markets. The region stands as a preferred production hub for investments in textiles, packaging, and advanced industries.
